Collaboration
The Interactive Institute was established to provide a creative milieu where multiple partners and stakeholders – national and international - can meet and find new ways of collaborating. Over time, the institute has become a vibrant platform for engaging with a broad range of stakeholders, extending beyond traditional research to engage strongly in industry, the societal arenas, the public sector and cultural scenes.
Typically, we apply for funding for our research projects from national and EU research funding agencies together with industrial and academic partners. We offer expertise in building the structure, strategy and operation/leadership of collaborative research and development projects, and we do commissioned work. We team up with other partners to create excellence centers and networks. We engage PhD-students in our research projects, and several master students do their theses work at the institute each year.
Our research has led to many partnerships with industry, academy and public organizations. The engagement of industrial partners is essential for successful adoption of commercial values and contribution to industrial growth. By developing inventions and concepts in strategic alliances we create values through market offering, licensing and open innovation. We have accomplished a number of successful projects with different actors, leading to new companies as well as products, innovations, exhibitions and social development.
Don’t hesitate to contact our Business developer Christina Öhman if your company or organisation is interested in a collaboration.
